This privacy policy explains what data The Tattoos Design collects and how we handle it.

Who We Are

The Tattoos Design (thetattoosdesigns.com) is operated by SHEEPIT, a company registered in Luxembourg.

What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

  • Anonymized analytics (pages visited, browser, country) via Google Analytics 4
  • Your email address when you request the free flash sheet and consent to art and shop updates
  • Email content when you contact us via info@thetattoosdesigns.com
  • Affiliate link clicks (if/when affiliate links are present): a cookie-less, first-party measurement of the click - see “Affiliate Link Clicks” below. No IP address, name, or personal data.

Apart from the email address you choose to give us (freebie sign-up or direct contact), we do not collect names, addresses, payment information, or other personally identifiable information on this site.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies for analytics only. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, GA4 stays off until you accept it in the cookie banner. Elsewhere, GA4 is on by default and the banner lets you reject it; rejecting turns it off and deletes the GA4 cookies already set. We place you by your browser’s time zone, without any request or personal data, and treat any unclear case as EU. To change your choice later, clear this site’s data in your browser: the banner will ask again.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

We use GA4 with IP anonymization enabled. GA4 may set cookies to track aggregated, non-personal usage statistics. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Flash Sheet and Art Updates

If you request the free flash sheet, we use your email to provide that freebie and, only with the explicit consent shown on the form, send occasional tattoo art and shop updates. We process it on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing info@thetattoosdesigns.com. Sign-ups are handled by our automation provider Make and stored in Google Sheets, acting as our data processors; we do not sell your email. The downloadable image is intentionally public and may be shared without an account.

Some articles may contain affiliate links. When you click one, you pass through a redirect on this site (/go/…) before reaching the partner. At that moment we record a cookie-less, first-party measurement of the click - the link clicked, the partner, the page you came from (path only), a coarse device type (mobile/desktop), and a short per-session identifier that is not stored across sessions and cannot identify you. We do not collect your IP address, name, or any personal data through this mechanism. This measurement is processed on our behalf by Make and relies on our legitimate interest in understanding which of our own pages are useful; it is not advertising tracking.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles may embed content from third parties (YouTube, Instagram). These services may collect data about you per their own privacy policies. We do not control this third-party data collection.

How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Freebie and update email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it
  • Email correspondence: 24 months from last reply
  • Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default)

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact info@thetattoosdesigns.com.

Where Your Data Is Processed

Data is processed within the EU/EEA where possible. Some third-party services (Google Analytics, content embeds) may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.
